Current Rig per 2006

This is truly a 'Rig-in-the-Box'! Because I only use it during holidays the rig itself is placed in a well rugged cabinet for field operations.

I really do like the ex-Marconi front panel meter, very 1960's I thought!

Inside the valve rig; 12BY7 Crystal Oscillator, 2 x 807 Power Amplifier, PL84 Clamp Valve. Band coverage from 3.85 kHz to 3.95 kHz, it covers the 76 mtr band completely.

Tank circuit and 2 x 807 Power Amplifier, 30 Watts to 70 Watts nominal as desired. HT Power Supply is 525 volt / 300 mA

Part of the audio section; the Internal MOSFET (BUZ900/905) 100W RMS into 4 Ohms solid-state amplifier. Audio driven by a Band Pass filter (<220 Hz) & (>5.5 Khz) and of course High Level Anode and Screen Amplitude Modulation with 100% positive and negative peaks available.

Want 115V/230V any place any time? Just connect an inverter to your car battery and you have your 'mains' where ever you need it! I bought this inverter secondhand from a shipyard.
